Celý svět je jedna velká akce CIA. V Kolumbiii s nimi spolupracují vláda i povstalci. Všichni se snaží být s nimi zadobře a jít jim na ruku. Mluvit o osvobození této političky jako o vyražení nějakých trumfů z rukou Chávezovi je nesmyslné, protože nebýt jeho snah, Betancourtová by dál strádala ve vězení.
