Corruption
Of course no country is free of corruption BUT it would be much better if the judicary and the public service were accountable for their actions and if these were career positions. It would be better if the heads of the public service departments were professional appointments and had a tenure, say 10 years so governments could not put their stooges in these positions.

Poor marks on government corruption
Hardly a surprise that the government would get poor marks, as it is the government itself that is the most corrupt, doing its level-best to enable corruption elsewhere. We don''t have corruption in America--we have lobbyists, a different name for the same influence. Thus, by changing the language instead of the moral deficit, we have solved our problem. Time for the Czech Republic to follow suit. After all, George Orwell was a European. Nations, like people, must keep up with the times.

Not far from the mark
Although, given the gravity of the situation, Karolina Peake''s inappropriate humor betrays her poor judgment, she might have a point.  At least, we could start earning two''s by throwing the current regime out.  Once their immunity is no more, the one''s will follow - per her suggestion.
