We fight for the joy of fighting, not for victory

“The highest form of martial art is to mentally force the oponent not to fight,” says Petr “Khru” Macháček in an interview for CzechPosition.com.

Petr Macháček, 43, is a fighter, coach and teacher. He has been practicing sports since childhood: karate, free style, boxing, rock climbing, caving, diving, survival in the wild, skydiving, lacross, paragliding, judo, ju jitsu, snowboarding, skiing and waterskiing, motocross, kung-fu, muay-thai (Thai boxing), ultimate fighting, vale-tudo, brazilsian jiu-jitsu, mixed martial arts. His club Hanuman Gym Praha is the oldest of it’s kind in the Czech Republic. His students have won titles domestically, in Europe and the world. In an exclusive interview, Czech Position has focused on his approach of the role of a coach as a teacher.
